Few whisky tastings come with Gothic arches overhead. The International Whisky Festival sets up inside the Grote Kerk, The Hague’s medieval main church, with distillers and importers pouring drams from Scotland, Ireland, Japan, the Netherlands and beyond. It is one of the biggest whisky events in the country and a good place to find out whether you are a peat person or not.
