Keukenhof is the Netherlands’ most famous garden and, for eight weeks each spring, one of the most photographed places in Europe. Millions of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths are planted in swirling beds across 32 hectares, with pavilions full of flower shows and the real bulb fields stretching out around it. Yes, it is touristy. It is also genuinely spectacular, and it is right on our doorstep in the Bollenstreek.
