Dordrecht is the oldest city in Holland, and its December market makes the most of all that history. Wooden chalets full of gifts, decorations and festive treats line the streets around the Grote Kerk and Groenmarkt, with music and food trucks adding to the atmosphere.
The market is part of the wider Dordtse Decemberdagen, which also includes a light walk through the old town and a winter garden later in the month.
