For years the Margriet Winter Fair was a fixture of the Dutch run-up to Christmas, and it lives on as dé Winterfair at the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch. Over a week, the halls fill with stalls of Christmas decorations, gifts, fashion, home goods and seasonal food, plus demonstrations and entertainment.
It is busy, sparkly and very Dutch, and a good place to tick off a lot of Christmas shopping in one go.
