Plenty of expats in the Netherlands are already thinking about the next move, whether that is back home, onwards to another country or somewhere sunnier for retirement. The Emigratiebeurs is the Dutch emigration fair, with around 200 exhibitors covering living, working, studying and starting a business abroad.
Expect employers, recruitment agencies, government bodies, relocation and tax specialists, and roughly 150 talks across the weekend. Most of it is in Dutch, but many exhibitors are happy to switch to English.

- Where: Jaarbeurs, Utrecht
- Tickets: buying in advance gives a discount; check the official site for prices and opening hours
- Getting there: direct trains run from Amsterdam Centraal to Utrecht Centraal, and the Jaarbeurs is about a 10 minute walk from the station.
Good to know: look at the talk schedule before you go, since the presentations are often the most useful part.
