Woman looking at a painting

The Kröller-Müller Museum owns one of the world’s great Van Gogh collections, and for the first time since 1984 it is showing all 88 of its Van Gogh paintings together. The works are arranged around faith, hope and love, three themes that ran through his life and art.

The museum sits in the middle of the Hoge Veluwe National Park, so you can combine the paintings with a walk or a ride on the free white bikes and a stroll through the sculpture garden. It makes a superb autumn day trip.

  • When: until Sunday 3 January 2027, Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 to 17:00
  • Where: Kröller-Müller Museum, Houtkampweg 6, Otterlo, in the Hoge Veluwe National Park
  • Tickets: included with a museum and park ticket, but you need to book a free exhibition time slot; the Museumkaart is valid
  • Getting there: take the train to Ede-Wageningen, then the bus towards Otterlo and the park entrance; allow a good two hours from Haarlem.

Good to know: the park ticket is separate from the museum, so check what you need before you set off.
